Project information:

For TRAM, the safety of its users and its driving staff is a fundamental aspect of the service and one of the company's main values. Its driving staff is responsible for everyone's safety while driving; therefore it is required to be 100% focused and at full performance while driving. Following a critical safety incident in their operation, TRAM began looking for an innovative solution to address driver fatigue. The goal of TRAM's project was to improve the safety and efficiency of the transport service offered on its two networks. 'Our drivers see the system as a positive aid in safety situations. It has helped solve problems such as fatigue and reduce all kinds of distractions, improving overall safety,' relates Ángel Bustos, Safety Director at TRAM.

'Magic Eye has enabled us to detect incidents, analyze risks and their causes, with the aim of taking mitigating actions and increasing safety in our operation', says Ángel. 'Since we have been using the system, we have been able to reduce these risks, which has allowed us to have a safer environment for our driving staff and our users.'
